What a hidden little gem this place is… Well worth a visit if you’re visiting Clare. It’s a bit off the beaten track but you won’t be disappointed. Skye was amazing very welcoming and knowledgeable whilst offering a relaxed vibe. Tastings were reasonably priced considering the number of wines on offer. We predominantly tasted the reds as that’s what we like but there were other wines to taste. A Must-Visit for Red Wine Lovers in Clare Valley!!! Our family recently visited Sussex Squire Wines in Clare Valley, and it was truly an exceptional experience! From the moment we arrived, the owner made us feel warmly welcomed, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The wine tasting experience was phenomenal. The passion and knowledge of her family about their wines and the winemaking process were evident, and it made the tasting even more enjoyable. As red wine lovers, we were thoroughly impressed by the quality and craftsmanship of their wines, especially their Shiraz and Cabernet blends. Each wine we taste had its own unique depth and complexity, showcasing the best of Clare Valley’s terroir. We couldn’t resist making a dozen-bottle purchase to bring the Sussex Squire magic back home. So we can share with friends for the Chinese New Years! If you’re a fan of bold, beautifully crafted red wines, Sussex Squire Wines is a destination you simply can’t miss.
